Future Challenges for Mountain Tourism: Quality Development, Creativity and Diversification

Since 1998, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the Principality of Andorra have been organizing the World Congress on Snow and Mountain Tourism with a great success.
For the first time, the 7th World Congress on Snow and Mountain Tourism will take place in one of the magnificent and well-established mountain areas worldwide, the French Alps.
The vibrant, modern city of Grenoble in collaboration with city’s Convention Centre ‘Alpexpo’ will host the event this year. The 7th World Congress on Snow and Mountain Tourism aims to unfold a constructive dialogue among key stakeholders, professionals, policy makers and experts from across the globe, on current issues and future challenges regarding ski and mountain tourism such as :

Upgrade and/or ensure quality development.
Apply innovation in product and promotion.
Maximize the diversification of tourism activities and/or services.
Develop strategies for confronting seasonality.
