The Nature Park centre covers different topics: "Touching the mountains" presents the geology of the Dolomites, "Miracles of nature" shows animal skins, eggs, feathers, footprints, teeth, antlers and healing herbs, while "Conquering mountains" mainly concerns the sport of mountain climbing and Reinhold Messner. |

The Nature Park visitor centre is housed in the former Steger sawmill. This 400-year old water-powered saw has been renovated and is now fully functional. The living quarters with parlour, kitchen and bedroom have also been reconstructed. Display boards inside and a nearby wood trail give information about the Nature Park. |

The Nature Park visitor centre in Naturns (Naturno) develops the theme of “Water and Light”. There are presentations of a spring biotope, the culturally and historically interesting irrigation systems known as the “Waale”, a green pond biotope containing tadpoles and toads and three aquariums. |

The ramps in the visitor centre are used as show floor to explain the origins of the Dolomites, the fossils and the activity of mountain pasture. In the lower floor there is a reconstruction of the Conturines cave with some archeological findings. There era also an archeological game and some interactive boxes about alpine habitats.
