During the year 2017, ALPARC has carried out many activities, organised several workshops and meetings and managed 2 Interreg Alpine Space projects as a lead partner as well as being involved in a third one. In the year 2018, ALPARC will continue to deserve nature protection and sustainable innovative development in protected area regions by a large variety of activities promoting international cooperation between the Alpine protected areas.

This newsletter reports on ALPARC’s latest actions and projects as well as the main achievements of the Ecological Connectivity Platform of the Alpine Convention and the network’s engagement in Action Group 7 of EUSALP and gives information about news or changes in the Alpine protected areas.

The ALPARC team and the ALPARC presidency and board wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
